Superintendent of Schools: Kent Otte
Mr. Otte earned his undergraduate degree in education from Fort Hays State University in 1977 and his Master's in Educational Administration in 1987. He was named Superintendent of USD 325 in 2003.
Prior to becoming Superintendent, Mr. Otte was the Phillipsburg Elementary Principal beginning in August 1995. Previous to that he was high school and elementary Principal at the Waconda Public Schools in Cawker City, Kansas. Before going into administration, Mr. Otte taught and coached in Downs and Wakefield.
Mr. Otte is a member of the United School Administrators and the Kansas Association of School Administrators where he serves on the Council of Superintendents. He is also involved in various community and civic organizations.
